As General Manager of EMCOR Services LT Mechanical, Steve drives operational excellence for the LT Mechanical business. His role is to direct the managers to assure projects are delivered to the highest level for margins and customer satisfaction. He builds relationships with the General Contractors for future business, focuses on projects that are currently underway, and sets rates that are comparable and acceptable for the market. With his leadership and industry expertise, Steve directs LT Mechanical to be the premier mechanical contractor in the Charlotte, NC area, following the guidance and strategic vision that has made EMCOR Services Aircond so successful.
As General Manager of Carolina Projects, Steve is focused on propelling growth and operational excellence throughout the Carolina Projects division of EMCOR Services Aircond. Steve focuses on the day-to-day processes and procedures to ensure that all client needs are exceeded and that the direction of the company is consistently on target.
HVAC & Facilites Services Industry Expertise
Steve has excelled at maximizing operational efficiency in leadership positions with more than 30 years experience in the HVAC industry. The latest being at United Technologies-Carrier Corporation for 8 years where he was the Territory Service Manager, and over 5 years of prior work as a Project Manager for a large mechanical contractor in the Augusta, GA area. Steve has also worked in the healthcare industry as an Engineering Manager responsible for the chiller plant, air distribution, boilers and all aspects of the building?s HVAC. Steve adds significant value to Aircond with his years of experience in the field managing a wide range of professionals.
Steve graduated from North Georgia Technical College in HVAC Refrigeration. He holds several certificates of training for different areas of the HVAC industry.
Personal Side
Steve enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife, Debbie, and their four children and six grandchildren. He is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoys playing golf, hunting, fishing, and gardening.
