As Vice President of Strategic Business Development, Ken leads the sales and marketing efforts of EMCOR Services Aircond's top tier customers. He specifically utilizes the solutions approach to assist clients in reducing energy consumption with sustainable energy management solutions, improving productivity with building automation systems, and achieving low Total Cost of Ownership with Aircond’s excellent HVAC and facilities services. Ken is highly skilled at discerning the client's "real need" and helping them achieve the best long-term business solution. As a member of the Aircond Leadership Team, Ken actively participates in the overall strategic direction of the company.
Mechancial, HVAC, Energy & Leed Services Expertise
Ken is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professional that has been providing mechanical service solutions within the HVAC services industry for over 25 years. Early in his career he worked with an engineering consulting firm designing various systems and later with a Fortune 500 company. Ken began his career with EMCOR Services Aircond over 15 years ago as a Sales Engineer and has held a variety of positions including Senior Sales Engineer, Account Executive, Director and recently, Vice President of Strategic Business Development. Ken assists with developing solutions, engineering systems, managing projects and implementing systems along with managing his team to provide superior client support in order to maintain a successful relationship.
Ken's extensive experience and determination have paid off with a number of significant achievements over the past several years. He has provided diverse mechanical, HVAC, and facilities solutions from stand-alone service agreements to on-site resident technicians, and from developing building automation systems to installing multimillion-dollar mechanical construction projects. A recent achievement was a highly successful design/build retrofit project for the Department of Homeland Security that required an innovative design solution, unique building controls sequences, energy conservation measures and LEED certification points all within a very compressed time schedule.
Ken earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1984 and is Co-Vice President of the Atlanta chapter of the Association of Energy Engineers as well as a member of ASHRAE and the Georgia chapter of the US Green Building Council.
Personal Side
Ken and his wife Kim have been married for over 25 years and have three accomplished children. Ken is a Deacon Elder at his local church and enjoys jogging, backpacking and spending time with his family.
