As Director of Strategic Business Development, Ken spearheads the marketing of EMCOR Services Aircond's top tier customers and specifically utilizes the solutions approach to assist clients in reducing energy consumption, improving productivity and achieving low Total Cost of Ownership. Ken utilizes a team approach in which he assembles the "appropriate personnel to get the job done". Ken is highly skilled at discerning the Client's "real need" and helping them achieve the best long-term business solution.

 

Expertise:
Ken is a Certified Energy Manager and LEED Accredited Professional that has been providing solutions within the HVAC industry for over 20-years. Early in his career he worked with an engineering consulting firm designing systems and later with a Fortune 500 company. Ken began his career with EMCOR Services Aircond over 13-years ago as a Sales Engineer and has held a variety of positions including Senior Sales Engineer, Account Executive and most recently Director, Strategic Business Development. Ken also assists with engineering systems, managing projects and coordinating field personnel along with providing on-going client support in order to maintain a successful relationship.

 

Ken's hard work has paid off with a number of significant achievements over the past several years. He has provided diverse solutions from standalone service agreements to on-site resident technicians, and from developing building automations systems to installing multimillion dollar projects. A recent achievement was a large design/build retrofit project for the Department of Homeland Security that required an innovative design solution, unique controls sequences, energy conservation measures, and LEED certification points all within a very compressed time schedule.

 

Ken earned a Batchelor of Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1984 and is a member of ASHRAE and AEE.

 

Personal Side:

Ken has been married to Kim for 22-years and they have three children with two in college one in high school. Ken is active in his local church community working as a high school youth leader. He enjoys jogging, backpacking and spending time with his family.
