Richard manages all services that Aircond offers for South Carolina's Operations. His responsibilities include management of the Mechanical Service Technicians and Managers, management of key accounts, account retention, ant the Mechanical Design/Build Projects Group. Richard actively participates in the overall direction of the company as a member of the Leadership Team.

 

Expertise

Throughout his career, Richard has been extensively involved in all aspects of the HVAC Industry. Prior to joining Aircond in 1977, Richard was an Instructor at a State Accredited Technical College. He taught Trade & Industrial Education.

 

Richard received his teaching certificate and his HVAC Technology degree through the University of Georgia. In addition, Richard has a South Carolina State Masters Mechanical License, a Refrigerant Certification through (MACS) and a Universal Certification through Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES).

 

He is on the advisory board of Midlands Technical College in Columbia, South Carolina and is an active member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES)

 

Personal Side

Richard is married and has four grown children and five grandchildren. He is an Eagle Scout and an avid reader. Richard enjoys being with his family, golf and motorcycles.
