HVAC SERVICES OBJECTIVES
An outsourcing arrangement for HVAC services including HVAC systems design, installation, maintenance and repair services that would enable the client to maintain the College's mechanical systems productively and cost effectively.
HVAC SYSTEM DESIGN/BUILD INSTALLATION SCOPE OF SERVICES
Over the years, Aircond has provided mechanical design/build services for numerous College renovation and new construction projects. In 1999, for example, the company provided commercial HVAC system design/build installation of 97 water-source heat pumps for individual housing unit control. In addition, Aircond's Control Division has installed digital building controls system in 12 buildings, enabling more efficient energy management of over 650 points, outside security lighting, and the campus irrigation system. And system integrated modems permit realtime 24-hour offsite alarm monitoring, a time-saving operational capability.
HVAC MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SOLUTIONS
Aircond's affiliation with the Salvation Army began in 1978, when the company was contracted to provide HVAC preventive maintenance and repair services in the Southern Territorial Headquarters Building. From that point, Aircond's HVAC projects scope of work has increased dramatically. In the early eighties, the Army began outsourcing all of its College HVAC services to Aircond.
SALVATION ARMY COLLEGE FACILITIES BACKGROUND
The Salvation Army provides charitable services to the poor, the elderly, disaster victims, and others. To develop its future leaders, it operates four Colleges for Officer Training. The one in Atlanta, GA, serves the 15 Southern states and the District of Columbia. It consists of over 13 classroom, residence, and administrative buildings.
